A Rede Entrepares believes that those who experience day-to-day mental suffering and community challenges possess a knowledge that no academic book can replace.

Our mission is to train people with life experience, family members, and community leaders in Brazil and Mozambique to act as researchers and agents of transformation in their territories.

Why is your donation essential?

Currently, our research is an independent movement and does not rely on public or private funding sources other than the researchers themselves.

To ensure that this science is truly popular and starts from the grassroots, we need to guarantee the financial viability of the stages planned for the neighborhoods of Rocinha and Complexo do Alemão, in Rio de Janeiro, and for the communities served by Eduardo Mondlane University, in Maputo.

Your financial support will go directly to the project's needs, as detailed in our action research plan:

1. Living Allowance for Community Researchers: The project's largest investment is ensuring a stipend so that residents, people with lived experience of psychosis, and family members can dedicate their time and knowledge to field research, recognizing the value of their scientific work.
2. Logistics and Territory: transport funding for events, food, and travel for researchers inside and outside the communities.
3. Knowledge Production costs for transcriptions of hundreds of hours of dialogues and trialogues, in addition to consumable materials (poster board, paper, markers, notebooks, etc.) for the training workshops and seminars.
4. Giveback to the Community: resources for the publication of booklets, folders, videos, website maintenance, and organization of local seminars, ensuring that knowledge returns to the grassroots in an accessible way with transformative potential.
